Draft for review — not yet effective
Version 2026-09-28-draft.2 · Effective date: Not adopted
Operator information has not yet been confirmed.
Explain the opportunity
Use accurate Paid, Revenue Share, Unpaid Collaboration, or Paid + Revenue Share labels. State the work, timeline, budget and currency when paid, or the share and what it applies to when revenue-based. Revenue share is not guaranteed income.
Agree before work begins
Participants should agree on deliverables, revisions, ownership, compensation, payout basis, deadlines, and cancellation. Respect age-related contracting requirements where you live. Do not demand proprietary source files, unpaid client work disguised as tests, identity documents, or unnecessary personal information.
Understand the limits
RoCreators introduces people. It provides no escrow, payment processing, insurance, guaranteed hiring, or transaction protection. Community badges do not guarantee trustworthiness or skill. Evaluate claims independently and keep records of your agreements.
Service listings and review integrity
Describe the scope, deliverables, pricing unit, revisions, estimated turnaround, restrictions, and any licensing terms you actually offer. A custom quote is not free work, and an estimate is not a guaranteed start date. Show only work you made or may publish; keep private commission files private. Do not invent clients, credentials, testimonials, ratings, or completed sales. Reviews are for people with a genuine working relationship, including genuine canceled or unfulfilled engagements where the reviewer can describe only what they experienced. A cold inquiry alone is insufficient. Disclose material connections and incentives. No fake reviews, review trading, or incentives conditioned on a positive or negative rating. A checked relationship is not a verified purchase and does not prove each statement true.
Review responses and disputes
Creators may respond publicly or dispute a review for a specific factual claim, missing relationship, wrong project, confidential information, harassment, coordinated abuse, or another policy issue. A low rating or an opinion the creator dislikes is not enough for removal. Filing a dispute does not automatically hide a review or change its rating. Both sides may submit relevant private evidence and see appropriate allegations or redacted summaries. Assigned Marketplace Reviewers investigate; only an unconflicted Owner, Community Manager, or Administrator may manually remove, redact, or restore public review content. Decisions are recorded and may be appealed to a different eligible decision-maker where available. Staff cannot change an author’s star rating. Do not upload passwords, full bank statements, identity documents, or unrelated client records.
Report a problem
Use Scam Report for suspected fraud and Marketplace Report for misleading listings or inappropriate hiring conversations. Authorized reviewers can examine a linked conversation only for that report. Leadership can remove a public listing; an appeal remains available through Support.
